In my MFA Graduation Presentation, I share why I think poetry matters and what matters in poetry. I pay homage to my extraordinary advisors at Pacific University: Kwame Dawes, Ellen Bass, Mahtem Shiferraw and Shara McCallum. I also ask the questions about form that animate my craft. Watch this space for news of classes I’ll be giving on how to help poems find their form in the coming months.
